For over 25 years, Ty Visscher has shared his family’s time honored tradition of jewelry making with Sonoma County. Ty learned his trade from his father, a master jeweler and craftsman, for legendary jewelry design icons such as Tiffany and Co., Harry Winston, Gumps, Shreve and Co., and Shapur, to name a few. His father’s designs and handmade creations were worn by the fashion greats of our time such as; Liberace and Zsa Zsa Gabor. Ty’s family history is also rich with generations of stonecutters and stone masters from Holland. You can still see his grandfather’s hand cut monuments at the entrance of Vondel Park in Amsterdam. Sitting at his father’s bench, Ty learned the skills of a master. To this day, he relies on the lost art techniques and combines these with current technologies to create, design, cast, and manufacture the finest pieces.
